Off to SD for the long weekend. See you guys went I get back!
5. Dragon Ball Z Cards/Basketball Cards
If you lived in Japan you know what’s up! You put 10 yen in the machine to hopefully pull out a SHINEY. Sometimes you get lucky and spend only 10 yen, but sometimes you’d end up spending 1000 Yen. I wish I never sold my shiney’s away. They were pretty rare too. I had the first Goten and Vegeta shiney. Another thing I collected were basketball cards. These were a little more expensive because the range from 99 Cents Upper Deck Collector Choice Packs, to $10.00 Upperdeck SP packs or Ultimate Flair. hahhah All ex collectors know what I’m talking about. Sometimes you’d spend about 20 bucks and get shit. I have a pretty good collection of Michael Jordan cards..common and inserts.
4. Basketball
The sport that I loved/love playing. I still play it to this day. I was one of the better players growing up, not anymore..still love it for excercise though. Just got a brusied heel today playing it.
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Full House
Two shows that I grew up watching.. I have watched every episodes of each show. Donatello was my favorite turtle because he was smart lols, therefore my favorite color was purple back then. Plus the Bo staff the best weapon to use in the video games. BTW, Anybody ever beat the 1st TMNT game on Nintendo?? That game was fucking impossible to beat. I think i’d beat the swimming part where you detonate the bomb and then get to the next state and just die. “Tonight I’ll Dine on Turtle Soup!”
Full house was another show I grew up watching. Danny, Joey, Uncle Jesse, Michelle, Stephanie, Aunt Becky, Dj, and the Gibbler hahaha.. “HOW RUDE!”
2. Labstation
This lasted for 1 summer only. It was one unforgettable summer though because we still talk about it. Always imitated but never duplicated haha. I just had fun.
1. Shoes
I just loved shoes when I was growing up. It was probably because shoes are related to basketball. I’m not one of those people that started buying shoes because everyone was buying them or because it is the “in” thing nowadays. I just really liked shoes ever since I was little. My parents never wanted to buy me expensive shoes growing up because..well..they were expensive. Just think about it..in 1990 the prices of the shoes that they retro now are the same price back then. If you think they’re expensive today, they were pretty much the same price back then. I used to envy these damn kids during recess with there Jordans, and Air Maxes in the playground. As I got a little older my parents eventually started buying me shoes because they knew what I liked. I didn’t have to “cry” and throw fits for them anymore haha. Some memorable shoes that stick to my mind as a little kid were the Air Jordan VIII’s because they had the straps, the Converse React Grandma Ma’s with the yellow gel, Air Max Force and mostly any Air Max Barkley’s.

hahaha this had me dying when i saw this gif.
5. Clubs with no girls. Sausage fest. Of course I’m not a solution to this problem at all hahaha..ehh what can you do.
4. Lines.. I hate lines!! There are more people standing outside in the lines then people inside the club. Especially if you have V.I.P because they try to milk the clock to past the free before 11 PM rule.. Stupid bouncers. Especially when you have to go pee because you just prefunked!
3. People that don’t buy rounds when they joined you for a round. Don’t get me wrong, it’s cool if you offered the drink to that person who isn’t expecting a drink because you wanted to buy them a drink or join you. THOSE people shouldn’t feel obligated to buy rounds. I’ve been that person who is called upon on to join them in a round, but wasn’t expecting it. Also people who are tight with money and the so called “DD” are excused from this. Lurkers are a different story heheh.. Drinks are expensive, so breaking a huge group into 2-3 is always smart.
2. Snobby girls in the club. You can’t dance anyways!!! hahah
1. The Guy Who Brings His Girl To The Club…And Gets Angry
Read HERE on what he has to say about this issue. It’s so true.
91-93 or 96-98
I’d have to go with 96-98 Michael Jordan. Lead the Bulls with a 72-10 record in 95-96 season. He was much older so he didn’t dunk or attack like he did in 91-93, but man..he PERFECTED that fade away. I don’t think anybody can stop that MJ fade away even though they knew that was his move.

Whee-Anne visited us from Las Vegas. It was a busy, but hella fun weekend. Come again Whee, but we’ll probably be in Vegas before that hahah.
Friday 12:30 AM
Marvin and I brought her to Alki and Kerry Park to see the night views of the city.

The infamous Pike’s Place when we woke up. It was hot.

We got hungry so we ate at Crab Pot. I’d go there again, hella good. I haven’t eaten this messy since yesterday.

Then we hit up the space needle. It was my first time going up there. Crazy huh?

Then we went to my house in Marysville. My Mom hasn’t seen her since San Diego like 5 years ago or something.

Trist at Night. I had fun, but that club was not cracking.

Out today !!!!
Man I’m sad this is the last season on dvd. I admit, I am late with this show and wished I watched it when it was on TV , especially since I have HBO. I don’t even know what channel my HBO is haha.
I first wanted to watch this show because it was recommended by many, especially since Niketalk thought very highly of it. I rented season 1 like 2 years ago, got through 2 disc, but then stopped because each episode was an hour long. Also I was not really paying attention to the episodes because I would be online while watching, so I didn’t really get into it. Man..was I stupid for doing that.
Chris got me into it again because again because he kept talking about wanting to own a gun and to start selling drugs hahaah.. Really though he highly recommended that I try it out again. Good thing I listened and I never listen to Chris haha j/k
If ya’ll haven’t watched this series yet, do yourself a favor and go out and watch it!! NETFLIX it or something. This tv show is too good to not be watched. You will learn so much about the drug game and police work. Do you know why the Clipse have a crew called the Re-up Gang? Do you know why Common made a song called ‘The Corner?’ If you don’t know..then after watching this show you’ll understand.
I’m going to start season 1 all over again, after this final season.

You can save my pictures now btw.. My settings were fucked up earlier.
Didn’t take many pictures during the tournament, but some of the pics are up on flickr.
Thanks to Janice for the group picture.
